Opinion on College

My life is something that's in my control I get to do what I want, but I can't be so recklessI have to always plan ahead. Today I will planning my life after high school.

Most students after high school will already know what to do and just go to college to study. But my opinions on college are different, I don't want to attend a college. I think colleges are nice and useful to some people but I don't think colleges are for me and right for my path. In my position colleges won't be useful and would just be a waist of time and money. Of course there is many benefits but I can still manage to live a nice life without going to college.

C-E-C

Again, having to expand my ideas with the Connect-Extend-Challenge (C-E-C) worksheet. For connecting my ideas with the information I found this week was nothing new the ideas I already knew, the ideas were the purpose of college and that is most likely for a better job and that job is to get money money, or for a better education but it still leads to getting a good job and getting a good amount of money.

Extend, the information again was already known but also some more of the information didn't connect so I couldn't extend my thinking if it had nothing to do with me. I couldn't ever find information saying that not enrolling into a college was also a good option, it always said that you had to attend.

Challenge, because of all of this thinking and nothing connecting to me it made me question if what I'm doing of not enrolling into a college is the right idea? Also another question was why does the whole world want everybody to go to college, is it for the money?Who known because nobody will ever say and you could never trust.

Overall

My overall plan is me pursuing my future career which is being a model. And basically that's going to occur if i get scouted or go into a modeling company, etc.

I don't think college is worth the cost and in my case I don't even think you need college in my case. A lot of the time colleges are not even worth it and can just cause a bunch of stress because everybody is so strict about it. But that's something I just think.

Something that should change other than colleges cost is the way that

'Public schools usually cost less for people form the same state compared to people from other states" (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KWi2bsfhZd9PGCgt7BKg3wdu1rz2EQAZ/view?usp=sharing). This doesn't really impact me and my situation but I just think that's it something to talk about since other people are going to want or have to attend colleges. This is unfair to those student that are out of the state that just want an education.Overall, there are two groups, both are getting the same education but one is paying more compared to the other just because of where they live. One real life example of where this is happening, it states,"For example, at Ohio State University, students from Ohio pay less than people from Pennsylvania and Michigan" (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KWi2bsfhZd9PGCgt7BKg3wdu1rz2EQAZ/view?usp=sharing). This should be something tats changes just for the sake of this groups money, because in the end they are getting the same education.
